SEVUN

Sevunscope

The world's first modular telescope

  • Interchangeable mirror kits from 15 to 25 cm
  • Adjustable focal length from f:4 to f:8
  • Easy to transport
  • Coming soon for pre-order

Why change everything?

Sevun is reinventing the telescope by developing modularity.

When you start astronomy, you generally invest between 300 and 500€ in a first telescope, but this quickly limits observations due to the size of the mirror.

To be able to observe more objects and details, it is necessary to purchase a larger telescope. Many astronomers end up owning at least two telescopes, for a minimum investment of between 1000 and 3000€.

In the end, the best quality/price/aperture ratio is sought. Also with larger mirrors, they become heavier and therefore less portable.

Un concept révolutionnaire

Modular: allows you to adapt to different types of observation
The SevenScope offers astronomers the ability to easily interchange mirrors, providing modularity that eliminates the need to purchase a new telescope for each new need. The number of possible optical combinations makes it compatible with more than 80% of mirrors on the market, with diameters ranging from 150 to 250mm.

The great versatility of the Sevenscope also lies in its ability to easily modify the focal length from 750 to 1250 mm to adapt to the mirrors and the desired aperture diameter. Thus, it is possible to simply replace the primary mirror with another of the same diameter but different focal length on the same telescope.

Keep an eye out
For the first time, it is not the astronomer who adapts to the telescope, but rather the telescope which adapts to the astronomer. The SevenScope SS1 was designed to provide comfort and ergonomics by developing its own focuser. The latter allows the astronomer to observe the sky in the best conditions and offers new horizons of exploration.

Celestial and nomadic
The Sevunscope has been designed to be easily transportable thanks to a simplified assembly/disassembly system, which facilitates its storage in a compact space and its mobility to suitable places for stargazing.

An azimuthal mount to start well
The Sevunscope is mounted on an innovative azimuthal mount to provide simple and intuitive use. Its ease of handling will allow astronomers to start in the best conditions and progress at the same time as their equipment, with the possibility of motorizing it.

See Even Farther

SEVUN still has more surprises in store… new evolutions are coming very soon.

Equatorial mount and GOTO

At XXX, evolution is not limited to just optics. The mount and its motorized assistance will also soon be available.
